I am a major fan of the Duncan Kincaid/Gemma James series and was very grateful that this title was available on Audiobooks. Deborah Crombie is a master of both character development and plotting and - disturbing as the crime is - this book is no exception. I also appreciate the quality of Jenny Sterlin's broadly versatile narration with one exception. Her Duncan Kincaid sounds a bit more nasally posh than the character reads. Small quibble for a great book.
