Unabridged Audiobook
All I can say is wow Absolutely amazing book and the narrator did a great job bringing this book to life. Five stars all the way highly highly recommend this book.
it took a while for the book to catch me but when it did...oh man did it catch me. This was an outstanding story using legends and myths to create a story that drags the listener along without mercy!
This book was not for me. That is why I gave it one star
Interesting and original premise but I still found myself struggling to care about what happened to any of the characters in this story.
Very entertaining
Excellent concept and story. You have to look past the corny military dialogue, reminiscent of 1950s movies. That aside it was well done and narrative was top notch.
Entertaining enough but somewhat unoriginal and overly self-serious given the ridiculousness of the premise. Not a bad book, and it’ll certainly appeal to a certain type of reader, but IMO there are too many better and cleverer military sci-fi cosmic horror stories for this to really stand out.
unique idea on technology meets afterlife. Had me hooked from the beginning.
Great narrator
It's a Mayberry novel so he's going to beat you over the head with so much unnecessary information. His style of writing just feels like he's trying to prove to everyone that he's the smartest guy in the room while shoehorning janky mil-speak that sounds unnatural to anyone who actually served.
Lovecraft x Transformers is a bold idea that could have been great fun. Lovecraft x Transformers + pages upon pages of philosophical yapping and showcasing knowledge of Lovecraftian horror like they're trying to be seen as an authority on the matter? Boring. And the power-rangers-esque ending was cringe-worthy.
