नीरजा को case के बारे में कुछ अजीबोग़रीब जानकारी मिली. साथ ही उसे ये एहसास भी हुआ कि case में उसकी मौजूदगी दूसरे detectives को नापसंद आ रही थी. वहीं नीरजा की निजी ज़िंदगी में उथल-पुथल बढ़ने लगी जब उसके पति राजीव ने बच्चों की ज़िम्मेदारी को लेकर नाराज़गी जतानी शुरू कर दी.

Neerja is called in the middle of the night by Girish, the pathologist working on the case of the murdered teen. Girish has some bizarre findings. The following morning, Neerja meets the case team to discuss Girish's findings, but immediately encounters resistance from the detectives running the investigation. In the meantime, her family life is suffering. Rajeev, her husband, isn't at all happy that he is now responsible for their childcare.
