Loved the book. Suspenseful with a killer twist!

To begin with, the narrator was great to listen to! If you want a book that will have the ending to shock you then this is the one. Great read and kept me intrigued the entire time and was able to finish in two days.

Amazing with twist! The narrator is spot on with voice, inflection everything. I highly recommend this read for anyone who loves suspense with a shock at the end. Another perfect story by Freida McFadden!

I don't enjoy this book as much as The Housemaid. Although well read, the narrator made the characters sound a bit superficial and flippant.

The revelations are shocking in this book!!! I caught myself having to go back 30 seconds to hear it again!!! Great book!!

Fantastic twist and enticing narration

Constant sultry-breathy-fearful narration was way overdone. I almost stopped listening because of the narrator. Might have done spoilers... Book itself had a lot of inconsistencies such as Tricia refusing to "wear that dead woman's clothes" but she was fine snooping through her house and listening to private patient tapes. Much of the book was predictable, some questions were never answered. Overall, I was not a big fan.

A highly entertaining read. Definitely enjoyed the resolution. However, I did have one big issue that I’ll try explain without spoiling the ending. A narrator maintaining a pretense, even to themselves, strains credulity. If it was a mental disconnect, I’d swallow it. But because it’s not, it feels like the lie was told to the reader, to service the ending. And that is what keeps this book from being truly spectacular.

I started "Never Lie" without expecting much, but it honestly surprised me. The story pulls you in pretty quickly, and there’s this constant feeling that something isn’t right. What I liked most is how the tension keeps building. Just when you think you understand what’s going on, something shifts and makes you question everything again. It’s one of those books that’s easy to keep listening to without getting bored. Some parts felt a bit predictable, not gonna lie, but the twists still made it worth it in the end. Overall, it’s a solid thriller—nothing too complicated, just a fun and gripping story that keeps you hooked.

Leslie did an amazing job with the different characters. The story was ok, nothing special. Did enjoy the twist and turns, but was easier to predict who was the murderer.

Book was good, with a good twist and a bit of an unexpected ending. The narrator on the other hand, not so much. Hard to tell who was who with the voices, was they were all very similar... Too bad.

I like Freida McFadden’s writing. It is exciting, intriguing, captivating. I could not do anything until I finished the book. I was disappointed about the ending. Ms McFadden’s writing makes her characters real. I really truly love some while I sincerely hate the others. She “killed” my favorite this time. Her ending was absolutely unexpected. It still is an excellent writing. But I donot like the ending. I was hoping my favorite would somehow miraculously reappear. I need a sequel. And in that sequel I want my favorite to reappear. Overall, the writing and reading were excellent.

When you think you have it figured out which you will think you have early on. Trust me you have not. Well written and had fun listening to it. I am a survivor of domestic abuse and narcissistic abuse and some parts of this book were triggering so be warned.

I always prefer a human narrator over a computer generated voice. This narrator doesn't do voices for each character, but the inflection is there and it was absolutely captivating!

Fairly interesting read with a lot of suspenseful moments. I did feel like the plot twist was exposed a little prematurely so the end of the book was a tad bit drawn out but overall a good, quick read. The narrator really did an excellent job as well.

Very good book, my wife and listen to book on trip from Lubbock to Oklahoma City made trip more interesting. The twist and turns kept us guessing to the very end. Very well written and narration was done well.

Plot twist was good! But it didn’t leave me wanting more. I enjoyed the book overall, 4 out of 5 stars for me. The reason I did 3 stars is because I read the physical book and listen to the audiobook at the same time because it helps my ADHD by keeping me focused and the latest copy of the book and the audiobook didn’t match up and there were a lot of unnecessary changes sentences. The Narrator was good though, not her fault they changed things!

If I could rate this 3 1/2 stars then I would.. it wasn’t terrible but I also didn’t LOVE it. The twist was pretty good but I feel as if it had so much more potential than what was written.

The first 75% of the book drove me crazy! The main character was in her mid 20s (assumption) and made a psychological drama out of everything! Psychological over analysis on minor matters. When the 'twist' arrived, the book improved dramatically. I still don't think it was worth having to read through the rest of the book.
