Unabridged Audiobook
The language was childish, the "big sister jealousy " was tedious. The actual story was better than a 1 star, but really flawed writing. The narrator was fine, but really badly edited, so there are several places where you hear the narrator correcting a mis said word, or trying different emphasis on phrases made when the erroneous phrase hadn't been deleted. The narrator was definitely let down by the editing.
I could not get past the first chapter. Don't bother with this book.
Familiar storyline, wondering if they made a movie from this book? Nicely narrated.
I thought the dialogue was unbelievable and awkward. The plot interesting enough to give the author one more try.
it was good!
Great Storyline
I’m confused as to why it was not edited to omit the moments when the narrator had to start the sentence again. Nevertheless, she did a fine job, and I really enjoyed the storyline.
Very predictable
Good book
Amateurish writing but story line was okay. Won't bother with the next in the series. The narration wasn't much better.
I enjoyed the audiobook but storyline was predictable.
narrator was ok, story was boring and all over the place. like no research had been done and the understanding of police practices/routines etc were awful
Writing so simplistic, I'm wondering if it was written for 3rd graders.
I enjoyed the story.
Very clichéd characters and plot
had to stop in the first couple minutes because of the narrator, it was like listening to a children's book
Gripping right from the start
Plot was good, not executed well in both story and narration.
The story was a good one, but the writer added comments about the rivalry between the 2 sisters all through the book. You knew each time they saw each other there would be an argument or May was going to suffer thru another put down session from her sister. The book was interesting and the plot good. The narrator constantly repeated words and phrases.
Really didn't care for it. Too many procedural mistakes. This author should do a little research on law enforcement before including it in a book. Sorry.
