The New and Everlasting Covenant: The Essence of Our Father's Loving Kindness

The New and Everlasting Covenant is a great gift that God has given to His children. However, for many the term is not well understood, but modern revelation gives us hope. The Book of Mormon's title page declares its primary purpose is to help us 'know the covenants of the Lord, that [we] are not cast off forever.' Through latter-day prophets we know the breadth of the covenant, its associated promises, and the power which flows from it.

In The New and Everlasting Covenant, Joshua Savage draws upon the scriptures and the words of latter-day prophets to reveal the multi-faceted nature of the New and Everlasting Covenant, showing that:

- The covenant is rooted in the nature and character of our Heavenly Father
- Jesus Christ underwrites the eternal promises of the covenant and the cost of our developmental experiences on earth
- Three eternal events‚ the creation of the earth, the fall of Adam and Eve, and the atonement of Jesus Christ ‚ are divine fulcrums around which each of our eternal destiny's pivot
- The covenant includes conditions, obligations, and ordinances which provide us with personal protection and motivation to keep our covenant
- The covenant is more than some impersonal contract, it is a covenant of love and is offered to us by God on the most generous of terms
- God has arranged the covenant so our knowledge of and gratitude for Him can expand

This book will introduce you to The New and Everlasting Covenant in a powerful way. It will change your relationship with your Heavenly Father and accelerate your journey along the covenant path as you more fully realize the transformative power of the covenant relationship with God in your life.
