The New Spurgeon's Devotional Bible is a two-year, 600,000 word daily devotional. Mr. Spurgeon said, "Our goal is to gather up the essence of the Scriptures during the reading of two years." Scripture, using the English Standard Version, and Mr. Spurgeon's comments are about evenly divided. Each reading is four to five minutes. The readings generally follow the order of the Bible, but other portions are inserted where appropriate. Volume One covers Year One, January through March.
