There is murder in the air on the island of Niflheim. But the victims don’t stay dead for long.

Eben is exiled to the north into the care of his estranged grandfather after his mother’s death. Between the biting winds and the old man’s bitter silence, Eben thinks the brutal winter is his biggest enemy. The fog creeps along the coast, concealing a much darker threat as a killer stalks the night.

With his new friend Freya, Eben discovers a chilling truth. Niflheim isn’t just an island. There’s a sinister power trapped beneath the rock, straining to be unleashed. As monstrous beasts emerge from the shadows and the dead walk again, Eben must embrace the terrifying thing he is becoming.

Some secrets are buried for a reason…
