Unabridged Audiobook
I loved this book! I couldn't wait to be able to continue the story. It was one of the most emotional books I have read lately and although Jude's character was frustrating Kristin showed how grief can take over your whole life.
Kristin Hannah is one of the people I would give both my arms and legs to, to get to meet, have dinner, and talk books with. She is awesome, and is one of my favorite authors.
Another Kristin Hannah book that I really enjoyed listening to, although very predictable. My only negative comment would be that it frustrated me that Jude never really took responsibility for the accident. She was as responsible, if not more, than the kids. But, all in all, a fun read and I thought the narration was good too.
Definitely a must read!
This was a great book, but a long read. Some of the grief could've been reduced some, although when something tragic happens, the grief is long and unbearable. There were parts where I found myself crying, so feelings were well-conveyed. I often felt something bad was happening, but realized I had thinking about the book. The narrator did an excellent job of letting us know who the characters were by the change in voice. Overall, this was a great read!!
The last few hours of the book were great but the first 10 hours dragged on and on, I almost stopped listening I have read enough of her books to know that they end up getting better but even keeping that in mind, it was too boring.
This one is very emotional. At moments I found myself disliking the characters and then I found myself relating to them.
Good book but the mother Jude is so self centered that it started to irritate me.
Love Kristin Hannah
Not my favorite from this author. A bit YA for me. And a bit predictable. Would highly recommend for young adults as there are some good messages within the story.
Couldn't stop listening. Tears in my eyes on public transport along with smiles. The book had everything. Highly recommended.
Kristen Hannah never disappoints. Beautiful, heartbreaking and healing, as usual!
Covers so many emotions from friendship, parenting, being and adult child. Raw pain, relatable characters. A great read with a powerful message about forgiveness
Excellent book, very emotional. Narrator was very good.
It was good, just predictable. I didn't think it was as good as most of her others.
Kristin is an incredible author who never fears tackling difficult topics. Her character development and storytelling is easy to love quickly as she weaves you into her plot. This was yet another one of her hard to swallow but so captivating plots that you want to abandon but just can’t because you know the toughness of the messaging is worth soaking in every word along as you journey to its end. I love that I always grow through her books…the moral challenges she covers ultimately grow you. Night road is yet .another great read.
Would highly recommend this book about extreme loss, healing and forgiveness.
One of the best books I’ve read, very moving, also suspenseful. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Loved the book. I found Jude to be somewhat self-centered, only concerned about her own loss. I found it sad that she would not even consider of an afterlife... What a sad way to face death!
I loved this book! I definitely recommend it.
A bit generic, but an easy listen and kept my interest.
Nice story with background of characters well-developed.
Love ! This book. It was my first Kristin Hannah novel. I can’t wait to read more of her books. It was emotional roller coaster but A must read/ listen. Love, loss, grief and forgiveness is what came to mind
A beautiful story about love, loss, grief and forgiveness.
Loved this story- but then….. haven’t found a Kristen Hannah story that I didn’t like.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book…..!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️ Kristin Hannah is definitely one of my favourite authors- and she definitely doesn’t disappoint with this book…a MUST READ…!!!!!
I enjoy this author. A cautionary story for the young. Invincible teens who have their hole lives ahead of them and suddenly have to live with the consequences of a single night.
So good, great character development and beautiful story.
Another amazing book by Kristin! Loved the storyline and the jumping throughout time. Very real and relatable. Narration was excellent and kept me wanting to stay in my car longer!
I loved the book!!
Great story of forgiveness and love lost and found.
Beautifully written. Listening to it was like eating a piece of dark chocolate or rich cheesecake. Sometimes it felt like too much and I needed to step away. I’m glad so didn’t give up on it. It was well worth getting through the heaviness to the reach the ending.
Good book but I didn't like the narrator.
read because I liked another Tina French book. I wasn't a huge fan of the beginning, but I really enjoyed the ending.
Fabulous book! Firefly Lane is one of my favorite books ever! Night Road doesn't disappoint at all!
Book got a little boring and the narrator made the female characters sound as if they were in middle school. Overall message was good.
