Unabridged Audiobook
I lost interest before the conclusion Also, I became acutely and painfully aware of the narrator saying “I said” with such repetition that it distracted from the story.
I don’t know exactly why this book left me a little flat. In the end, I simply didn’t care what actually happened to the father. It didn’t inspire me. Julia Whelan, however, did her usual wonderful job of narration.
