Unabridged Audiobook
Awful and redundant
I hated this book and everyone in my bookclub agrees
For anyone who is a mother/experienced postpartum, this is THE book to fully illustrate what that looks and feels like. This is the raw and true story of what it is like to go through the chaos and beauty of motherhood. For the main character to be able to channel her mom rage and transformation into such powerful performance art is incredible. Giving hope to all mothers who may be struggling to feel the joys of motherhood that we are all “supposed to feel” The narrator is absolutely wonderful and I enjoyed listening to her soothing yet powerful voice bringing this book alive.
Powerful ode to mothers, agreed that the last third doesn’t exactly match up with first 2/3 of book but it’s poetic in its own way and satisfying that Nightbitch wasn’t just locked up somewhere in the end or dead.
Great symbolism and mixed in with a crazy plot
interesting plot, solid narrator
