Unabridged Audiobook
The book was okay but the narrating was horrific. The synthesized voice was awful from pronunciation to no emotion. Will not listen to another.
Story was okay but I agree that the narrator was not being read by a human at all times.
Story was good , but the narrator albeit computerised was very off putting with the pronunciation of basic words is poor
Liked the story, hated the narration.
Very nice book I’d recommend it for those who likes detective stories
Good storyline
Heart pounding beginning till the end what a story
Seems like A.I. wrote and read the book. Alot of redundancy. Terrible pronunciation throughout for the robot that read it. Almost defeats the purpose of the audio book.I liked the first bookI listened to from Ava Strong but highly doubt I will continue the series.
terrible the story may have been easier to follow if the narrator was an actual person
Liked Sophia’s abilities.
The book was ok. I really liked the lead character.
Interesting but the digital narrating is distracting. Very often the voices are incorrect. Once the voices are incorrect it does correct itself until there is a non character speaking narration like "she walked in the room" then the voices correct themselves. If you going to do digital narration you need better proofreading.
An interesting storyline, but the execution was poor with the clues coming to simply, and the heroine, Sofia, far too clever for reality. The narration was generally quite understandable.
A gripping mystery that I wish was read by a human. Awful AI narration. Mispronunciations, inconsistent pronunciation (now the main character's name is pronounced " Sopheea", then "Sophaia"), weird sounds and faulty intonation spoils the listening experience. Every sentence with an exclamation mark is screamed.A pity a good story is spoiled this way.
I enjoyed the book, but the AI narrator is terrible. It was really hard to listen to. I would have preferred to read the actual book vs listen to it.
the storyline was fine. the narration was off. half artificial voice and weird pronunciation
It was fantastic. I was totally intrigued the entire book. I did enjoy the narrator. All in all it was easy listening.
the book was good, but again, I’m not crazy about the narration
Great story
The reading sounded like it would switch from a person to some machine reading. It was easy to tell when the machine was reading because the pronunciations were often wrong.
