When a farmhouse full of bodies is discovered, the police initially connect the crime to a chain of burglaries across North Yorkshire. But when a connection is made to the past, events take a sinister turn.



Drew and Harriet must explore dark avenues, many of which take them to unthinkable places. But in a case this complex, they must face unsettling facts if they are to uncover the truth at the heart of the killings.
