Unabridged Audiobook
I liked the ingenuity of the book’s design with the podcast element and different sources of narration. But I think the title was poorly chosen as it minimises the believability of anything throughout (I think on purpose), but this takes away from what could have been more shocking twists. I also found many parts to be drawn out and quite dull to get through (e.g., people’s backstories), and throughout it felt like I needed to get through mundane detail to get to the interesting elements. I think it addresses key and timely issues we face, such as domestic violence, mental illness, disability, isolation, and the medium of podcasts in sharing and connection. For this, it is a worthwhile listen. Areas of improvement would be building suspense to more unpredictable twists, and reducing mundane or unnecessary detail.
honestly I loved this book! I couldn't stop listening, the intrigue is so well written and interesting!
I didn’t get through, also the narrator was too American for me as foreign listener. Stopped halfway.
Not 100% my type of book. I prefer more action than the drama part of it but it is well written and worth the listen if you have time. Good narrating and well presented. I think that is more what kept me listening
amazing

Very good read kept me captivated all the way through very clever story
Really enjoyed listening to the whole production of this book. The repetition of information was my biggest distraction, otherwise, the current and relevant topics covered were done so with skill and in keeping with the story.
A fabulous book that kept you hooked. Excellent narrator. Thoroughly recommend.
One of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to! The story was captivating and the narrator’s delivery of dialogue was natural and genuine.

Hated the cut in and outs and daft music. It took a long time to get to the real story. Narrator as excellent as always
Was expecting better from the reviews of this book. Found it a bit boring at times and a little slow. But overall its a good story and concept
Great listen. Kept me intrigued.
Lisa Jewell is good at getting into the heads of people who are psychologically disturbed and the impacts that their behaviours have on others. Nice production
