The Numbat Puzzle: A Tasmanian Tiger Twins Endangered Animal Adventure

Quick — name an Australian animal. Kangaroo? Koala? Thought so. Meet Australia's most endangered marsupial with a superpower all its own and the two Tasmanian tigers helping to save it.

When Timothy and Teresa, Tasmanian tiger twins, answer a animal distress call, they find Ned the numbat curled up sick inside a hollow log in the eucalyptus forests of Western Australia. Ned thinks he's been eating the right food — but something is very wrong. Can the twins use their knowledge of Australian wildlife to crack the Numbat Puzzle before it's too late?

Perfect for curious kids aged 4–8, classroom nature units, and anyone who loves animal adventure stories that are as educational as they are fun.

📚 What kids discover in this story:

— What numbats really eat (hint: not ants!)

— How numbats get their favorite food
