Summary
“… that country where it is always turning late in the year. That country where the hills are fog and the rivers are mist; where noons go quickly, dusks and twilights linger, and midnights stay …”

Explore the outer limits of the imagination with the Grand Master of American Literature, Ray Bradbury, in a dark and disquieting descent into The October Country. Readers of The Martian Chronicles and The Illustrated Man, as well as fans of H. P. Lovecraft, Rod Serling, Bram Stoker, Stephen King,

Don't get bogged down by the first story. Skip it if you must (I did) but if you don't quit on the rest of the book you will be rewarded. The theme of the collection is death and these are classic Bradbury - beautifully written and just a touch unnerving. Good narration as well.

I don't know what others are talking about, this book was a very boring listen.
