Olivia O’Dell is freshly graduated, painfully hungover, and absolutely certain everyone else received an instruction manual for adulthood that somehow skipped her.

With no real plan and an increasingly loud suspicion that she’s doing life wrong, Olivia does what any reasonable twenty-something would do: she gets on a plane to New York.

Running on bad decisions, stale champagne, unresolved feelings, and the kind of confidence that only appears after everything has already gone spectacularly off the rails, Olivia finds herself tangled up with Jameson—the one she never quite stopped wanting; Derek—the unexpected detour she wasn’t prepared for; Sven—the man who sees something in her she isn’t sure she sees in herself; and Sloane, the best friend willing to walk beside her through every gloriously questionable choice.

Messy, raunchy, funny, and unexpectedly tender, O’Deli: Unhinged is about being young enough to have no idea what you’re doing and brave—or reckless—enough to do it anyway.

Because sometimes rock bottom isn’t where your life ends. Sometimes it’s where the good story starts.

Postcards from Rock Bottom

Meet Olivia O’Dell: traveler, romantic disaster, professional overthinker, and enthusiastic participant in her own questionable decisions.

Postcards from Rock Bottom follows Olivia through the places, people, hookups, heartbreaks, friendships, and spectacular miscalculations that shape her life. Each installment is another stop along the way—a new city, a new almost-love, and a new version of Olivia trying to figure out who she is when the plan falls apart.

Funny, sexy, messy, and deeply human, it’s a love letter to the years when you’re supposed to be building a life but mostly feel like you’re improvising one.

Because Olivia may not know where she’s going.

But she’ll have one hell of a story when she gets there.
