Unabridged Audiobook
Great story
This was a very slow burn thriller. Not the most thrilling but definitely kept my attention.
Enjoyed the details
I am going to try again. The story seems to be good but the Narrator's voice is unbearable.
The story captured me and was relentless until the end. I was curious about how Finder would put together the pieces of the puzzle and have the ending as dynamic as the rest of the story. I was not disappointed. I understand that Paul was the protagonist and appreciate it the character development but I felt as if the author could have fleshed out Tatyana better than what occurred in the novel. After all, she was the title. As somebody who had a career working with combat veterans suffering from PTSD, Stanley’s personality could have been expanded without taking away from Paul’s story. The flashes we got of Stanley indicated to me that this was a character with complex PTSD, not just combat PTSD. I wasn’t a fan of the narrator. I understand that the characterization of the Russian women’s dialogue would be difficult to pull off, but his impersonation of Tatyana sounded comedic.
