The story is about an orphan Oliver Twist, who endures a miserable existence in a workhouse and then is placed with an undertaker. He escapes and travels to London where he meets the Artful Dodger, leader of a gang of juvenile pickpockets. I appreciated this classic tale, but some of the different narrators made it difficult to stay focused on the story.

The book is awesome. I've only seen the movie. The book is so much better. I had a hard time focusing on the book with each chapter being read by a different person.
