'Where ignorance is bliss, 'tis folly to be wise.' But in a world of disturbing news and global upheaval, is being ignorant ethical?

On Ignorance and Bliss is a philosophical audio drama that retells Plato’s Republic for the modern age. Through the perspectives of 6 characters —The Idealist, The Fool, The Skeptic, The Student, The Pedant, and The Sage — as they navigate the tension between awareness of suffering and personal peace. From family secrets to societal myths and moral blind spots, our story challenges the modern structures to define a world where we can be both ignorant and blissful.

If you’ve ever wondered if true happiness requires a degree of looking away, this journey into the heart of philosophy is for you. In an approachable way, On Ignorance and Bliss introduces the study of wisdom, knowledge and ethics to those who have never studied philosophy before.
