I haven't laughed so much from a book in years. Clever, sharp, hilarious. And becoming complex and touching as the book proceeds--while continuing to be well-sprinkled with humour. I appreciated the scope and specificity allowed by following a connection over years but focusing on a single day of each year. The narration was just astoundingly good: I would give a 6 if I could.
