This is such a hidden gem of a series. The narrator perfectly encapsulates the mood of this book. Addictive, funny, and easy to get into!

I have been a long time reader of fantasy, but had never sat down with a LitRPG book, until this one. Overall, it was a fun ride with a very likable and relatable main character. The story had a relaxed pace and moved along with a first person narration exploring a new world at his own pace without the pressure of an antagonist or a feeling of being pressured at all. The game system was interesting, with enough familiar points to balance out the new ideas and points the writer brought out in his own unique system. The narrator had excellent vocal pacing, emotion, voice range and variety for characters, and great recording quality. All in all, this was a fun read and I am looking forward to getting into the second one! Thanks for a great book Eric & Neil!

This is a great book worth listening too and long with the others. Keeps you on your toes on what happen next

A good start to this series. Feels like this guy is someone who is trying to be a better person.
