Unabridged Audiobook
I think I have a thing for Ruben Palmer! I absolutely loved this sweet romantic comedy. The characters were fantastic, the story was heartfelt, hilarious, and swoony. I was entertained from start to finish and will always dream of a New Year’s Eve moment as good as the one in here. I loved listening to this audiobook and highly recommend it!
"I am not, nor have I ever; chased Ruben Palmer. He has pretty much half of the women on earth in love with him, and I'm not adding my name to that list." sums up how Cadence feels about Ruben. They were rivals in high school and now he's her boss. The boss who sent her to work in Vietnam for 3 years and never contacted her the entire time she was there. Now Cadence is back working at company headquarters and she's going to "prove herself"! Cadence proving herself doesn't quite go as she expected thanks to a little something her step-sister left at her apartment--baby Axley, the nephew Cadence didn't know existed. There were so many things I loved about this story:
