lost all respect for her in their 1st love scene..couldn't finish it

I listened to the audiobook version of this story and I loved the sweetness of the relationship and how genuine the connection felt between Kirby and Lexi. Kirby being there for her from the very beginning providing her with support and uplifting her as she rediscovered her confidence and sense of self after her husband caused so much trauma was one of the things I loved the most about him. Then witnessing Lexi heal and find herself while reconnecting with her family felt just right. The romance between these two was full of patience, tenderness, growth and passion. The narration by Teddy Hamilton and Stephanie Rose was pure ecstasy! They were perfect for bringing these characters to life. Definitely a great story that I devoured in one day.
