Summary
Five armed robbers disguised as cuddly cartoon characters storm a bank. Although they say they are there to rob the place, it becomes clear that they have a much more complex plan: all of the robbers want to atone for their past sins and to punish other criminals whom justice cannot touch. Word gets out that the robbery is taking place and before they know it, the whole country is following the heist live... The Orchestra of Bandits realise that their actions will impact not only the lives of everyone in the building, but society as a whole...is everyone ready for a new perspective on good and bad...?

this book is so cinematic and filled with really satisfying characters and unfolding plot that really kept me interested despite the fact that the basic plot line was something I feel like I have some familiarity with. just really gorgeous and my first Turkish novel. there are a few errors and translation or some lack of nuance and subtlety in the words and it wasn't really frequent that I think I can identify for or five spots in the whole novel where I was like I would change that but otherwise really lovely to read to listen to.

I enjoyed the story but was let down by a less than enthusiastic ending. It had many moments of positivity and reflected upon seeing the positivity in people overcoming evil on a very public stage.

What a great story. The only comment I’d make is that the book was translated from Turkish into English, but the characters all kept their original names. I found the Turkish names too difficult to remember and therefore often couldn’t relate the storylines to the right characters. All in all, with a number of rewinds, I really enjoyed it.

If this wasn’t a VIP reward I would never have chosen it but I was so glad that I did. It was a really different story with as one reviewer has already pointed out, a cinematic feel to it. The characters are three dimensional and gems of wisdom and life observations are littered throughout . There were a few gory and very sad bits so be prepared. I know there have been comments about the ending but really this story was only ever going to conclude in the way it did. Thoroughly recommended . The narrator reads it as if it’s a children’s story which was grating at first but the more the story goes on the more suited his style of storytelling is. Note to self , try more international authors .

Interesting beginning, but I soon thought I'd never get through it.

This was an amazing book. I couldn't stop listening! The story was touching and carrying, and the narrator did a wonderful work. I simply wished it would never end. It is one of those books that you keep thinking of, long after you finished it. Thank You!!!!

I liked it until the last 1 1/2 hours, which were disappointing.

At first, I thought this was a familiar story I’ve heard many times. However, it unfolded into one of the best I’ve ever heard. The narrator is just as incredible as the writing. This may have changed me a bit. In a good way. I highly recommend listening!
