Unabridged Audiobook
Jamie Jackson is my idea of the consumate narrator. His diction is par excellence and he never shows any signs of flagging throughout this massive work. What could so easily have been a weighty tome was made very listenable by the genuine interest he clearly displays. A very profound approach to a difficult subject which is presented in an easily digested form. A jolly informative read.
A very interesting and comprehensive story, great narration.
Great listen!
It’s too bad he spends so much time trying to debunk the God theory. The whole notion of a big bang and what came before that, although more likely, is surrounded with just as much mystery.
The universes--and we--are amazing entities. Incomprehensibly to me, but less so after listening to Origin Story. A worthwhile experience.
A lot of info that was explained in a way that the average Joe could understand. A great history and universal science lesson from the beginning of our galaxy to the present and a little prediction of what to expect in the future. I really enjoyed this book.
Very interesting book. Highly recommended!
Interesting book. I was not as big a fan of the narrator as the other 2 reviewers posting here before me. The earlier comment praising the narrator on his "diction" is utterly absurd, as the narrator does not employ his or her diction in presenting an audiobook- they convey the diction of the writer, not their own.
