Unabridged Audiobook
I don't spend a lot of time reading or listening to blatently pro-monarchy sources, so this well written biography was fascinating from that perspective alone. And while I disagree with the author's stance that the monarchy and members of the royal family in the good graces of the "The Firm" have never done anything wrong, I do appreciate the author's willingness to provide information and quotes from all sides, even those he clearly disagrees with. Also, whether intentional or not, the reader's impressions while reading the quotes are first rate. I particularly liked his impression of the Elizabeths, both Queen Mother and Queen Regnant.
Very good narration and research. The only issue I had was that the information included was already known. Only read if you don’t care about any new information.
Gives the reader a better understanding of the Royal family and especially King Charles and that fact the Courtiers appear to make most of the decisions.
