Very informative. Loved this book.

Good book. Will vote for you 2020.

A very good introduction to the politics and life of Bernie Sanders. Apart from that, this book gives a very decent insight into the 2016 primary and how it went down (from Bernie's campaign perspective). Bernie really shifted the nation to the left after 2016. The first half of the book and the last chapter is narrated by the man himself, which Is great because his voice is inspiring. The part of the book not narrated by him is a little annoying TBH because this other narrator's voice is dull and kind of monotone - but the content is high quality. Would recommend to anyone not already familiar with Bernie or anyone who wants to know a little about his personal life and the way the 2016 primaries underwent from his perspective.

this book conflicts with fact. it is a pipe dream written by a delusional man that leaves out way to much factual data, with the intention of skewing the fact of what took place. only read this if you enjoy lying to yourself

(Review from 2025) Bernie is awesome, I’m Canadian and a big fan of his. He takes the issues with both the right (current Hitler Nazi scary terrifying dumpster fire) and the left (no current super inspiring leaders or anyone willing to take on Trump’s fascism and authoritarian presidency), but what he says in this book about 2016’s events, which were awful especially being that Trump was elected and then attempted to overturn the results of the 2020 election just because he LOST and incited an insurrection. Seriously what is the point of impeachment if he’s back in office, now being Hitler and disappearing people off the streets? Bernie has a couple of newer books I am looking forward to reading; he is now 84 years old but his message is SO important and needs to be heard and repeated. Perhaps if “anonymous” thinks that Bernie is such a liar, they shouldn’t have bought or listened to the book… tell me who you voted for without telling me who you voted for.
