Pale Demon

I love this series and Pale Demon did not disappoint. Hands down, it's the best of the series--though it leaves you feeling really sorry for "Al".

I'm enjoying the hollows series, now to find the book following this one. I'm loving the series.

This was well written and well narrated. I recommend this series.

I listened to Black Magic Sanction & Pale Demon back to back, and that might have been a mistake. It really reminded me of all my problems with this series. I can deal with formulas in my fluff reading, but I prefer it not to require that I spend the whole time yelling at the main character to grow a backbone already. AND there was more lust than romance and it all felt very stale to me. I still enjoyed specific sections of the book, for many of the reasons that got me hooked on the series.. but I sense that any additional books are going to be more of the same. I'm ok with ending the series here and moving on to something else. There are theoretically more books coming but I think it'll be awhile before I'm willing to give them another try.
