Paulinians: How the Followers of Paul Replaced the Teachings of Jesus

PAULINIANS: How the Followers of Paul Replaced the Teachings of Jesus

By Brad Smith

What if the religion built in Jesus' name was never actually his?

Paul of Tarsus wrote nearly half of the New Testament. His theology of salvation by faith alone forms the backbone of virtually every Protestant church in America. Billions of people have built their entire understanding of God, sin, grace, and eternity on his letters.

There is just one problem.

Paul never met Jesus. Not once. Not a conversation. Not a meal. Not a single moment in the physical presence of the man he now claims to represent. And by his own written admission — in letters sitting in your Bible right now — Paul called his message 'my gospel,' received it from no human being, and admitted he used craftiness and trickery to spread it.

PAULINIANS investigates the theological war between Paul and James — the biological brother of Jesus — who directly contradicted Paul's gospel and called faith without works dead. It examines the Council of Nicaea, where a Roman emperor voted Jesus into divinity in 325 CE. And it confronts the devastating truth about how Paul's doctrine was handed to enslaved African people as a tool of control.

This book is for everyone sitting in a pew with questions they were afraid to ask. For everyone who already left the church but carried the guilt with them. And for every pastor willing to value truth over doctrine.

The questions your church never answered — PAULINIANS does.
