Solving this ghost mystery should be easy as… well, pie.
Right?
Pegasus shifter Ethan Roan eats, breathes, and sleeps his work, preparing for the day he'll take over his father's corporate law firm. The daily grind leaves him with no time for fun, let alone love… and he's fine with that. Or so he tells himself, anyway.
Now, though, he's inexplicably found himself attached to a ghost that insists he help it return to the afterlife—and it's not above sabotaging his work to get his attention. Which is how Ethan finds himself on a road trip to Girdwood Springs with an amnesiac ghost and a cantankerous pegasus, despite it very much not being in his schedule.
But when he has a baffling encounter with a beautiful, feisty woman who turns out to be his fated mate, his carefully built walls start to crumble down…
Chloe Fenwick has just moved to Girdwood Springs, following her dream of running her own veterinary clinic.
The town is charming, the locals are friendly, the food is incredible—and the new receptionist sent to her by the temp agency is something else. She's never met a man so stunningly gorgeous, let alone one who's had such a magnetic effect on her. Not to mention he's fantastic with animals, too.
And okay, so he's a bit uptight. And he doesn't seem to quite know that he's her receptionist. And she's getting the distinct impression that he's carrying on a silent conversation with someone she can't see. But somehow, that just makes her even more intrigued…
Return to the cute, quirky town of Girdwood Springs with Pegasi and Cherry Pie, a sweet shifter romance and the sixth in the Shifters and Sweets series. It's got warmth, humor, a sassy heroine, a hero in dire need of unthawing, and a guaranteed HEA!
