From the author of Martina's Muy Bad Day comes a dual-lingual Spanish picture book about celebrating mothers and all the gifts they have given us, perfect for fans of Nosotros Means Us and For You, I Will.

“Our love for Mami is richer than la tierra, louder than el mar, and brighter than el sol,” Neli gulped. “None of these regalos are enough, Pepito.”Neli loves Pepito the Pollito, the fuzzy little chick she got as a present for her birthday.

But the night before her mami’s birthday, Neli realizes that no gift she could ever give her mother could show her love. But she has to try!

With Pepito, Neli ventures into their neighborhood in Colombia to try to find a gift. They find:

- glittering kristl at the salt mine that sparkles in the sun
- una concha in the waves by the seaside
- and along a pond, they mix the mud to create beautiful colores.

But a salt crystal, a shell, and even a beautifully painted rock don’t feel like enough. How will Neli find the perfect gift for Mami?
