Unabridged Audiobook
Going to be blunt here: I could not stand the rantings of the “me me me” main character. I tapped out after suffering through 3 hours of melodramatics. I gave it a chance. I usually only leave star ratings but leaving a comment on this one, in case this info helps someone’s purchasing decision.
This was a VIP selection and probably for good reason. I rarely do this but I can not recommend this title. It was juvenile at best in places and just rambled in others. The narrator was fine given what she had to work with.
Phenomenal story beautifully brought to life by a fantastic voice actor!

Sweet and clean.
I don't normally listen to rom coms as I usually find the whole concept vey boring, but as a VIP selection when nothing else appealed I was pleasantly surprised, I really enjoyed this book and it's not what I expected at all, the title is deceptive
Really excellent story that is as much about the trials and tribulations of being a writer as it is about the romance. I liked that the main character was very distinct, not a vanilla romcom heroine. That being said,, I can see how some of the other reviewers would find her irritating. I personally found listening in on the melodramatics of her inner thoughts to be highly amusing. The narrator did a great job of doing the male voices as well as the female ones. My only wish is that the love interest could be fleshed out a bit more.
