i have never rated a completed book this low before. I had trouble getting through it but kept thinking it would improve. It didn’t. The one word sentences, the very stiff dialog, a very strange preface, all resulted in my disliking it.

I’m not sure if it’s the fact it is not unabridged or just horribly written. It is choppy and uneven. I did not like the narrator…very stiff and stilted. Could not finish.

Lots of plot holes and honestly the main male character was nauseating, mostly because the dialog was so eye-rolling. I wanted to stop listening but kept thinking it would get better because I’ve liked other books by this author.

Could not get into it. Tried to push through, hoping it would get better and then gave up. Also, the narrator did not help- everything seemed overly dramatic.

I was extremely disappointed in this book. Her earlier books were very suspenseful and not cheesy. The narration wasn't bad. I just couldn't handle the reading - deleted book without finishing
