Unabridged Audiobook
The narrator changing up the volumes for the speech of each character is so jarring. I don't want to be straining to hear him whisper one moment and getting jumpscared the next. Richard's voice especially - WHY does the narrator think that the best way to differentiate the characters' voices is through changing the volume?? It keeps me from enjoying the book as I'm constantly bracing for the next time he speaks loudly so that I'm not caught by surprised and crash my fucking car as a result.
