I’m a long time fan and a lot of the information in this book is information that other books and also the bittersweet motel movie previously covered. There are also podcasts and YouTube these days. I guess what I’m trying to say is this book didn’t shed any light on the band I did already know. Maybe a few things. But not much. For someone who isn’t a longtime fan, this is probably a great read. And for someone getting into the band, it’s nice to have it all consolidated in one spot. Whereas 25 years ago when I was getting into phish I had to do a-lot of research and ask a-lot of questions and much of this information was spread out across different books, and through word of mouth. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. Despite what I’ve outlined already, I can never get enough phish and I would even listen to it again probably.
