I have toiled through this assault upon my musical integrity as a retired music teacher. It was not until the very last section that (upon hearing from Wieck's publisher) my own opinions on the manner of teaching was confirmed. This man's methods were even out of date in his own time. He is so pretentious in the extreme. Nevertheless, worth the effort.
