The Porch of Saints & Secrets: Where Saints Watch and Secrets Rise

On an ordinary street in the small town of Netcong, New Jersey, the front porches are more than places to sit. They are where stories are shared, traditions are passed from one generation to the next, and lives quietly intertwine.

When family secrets begin to surface, long-held beliefs are challenged, old wounds are reopened, and forgotten acts of courage reveal that the past is never as distant as it seems.

Rich with the warmth of an Italian-American neighborhood, The Porch of Saints and Secrets is a heartfelt novel about faith, family, friendship, forgiveness, and the enduring bonds that shape who we become. Through colorful characters, heartfelt conversations, humor, heartbreak, and hope, Lou Basenese, Jr. paints a vivid portrait of a community where everyone knows your name and your story.

This moving novel explores how ordinary people can leave extraordinary legacies, reminding us that life's greatest lessons are often learned around a kitchen table, on a front porch, or in the quiet moments when we choose grace over resentment and love over fear.

For anyone who treasures stories that celebrate community, resilience, redemption, and the timeless values that connect generations, The Porch of Saints and Secrets is an unforgettable journey home.

Thought-provoking, uplifting, and deeply authentic, this is a story that will stay with you long after the final chapter.
