Summary
In this book, you will discover how powerful habits are. You will learn how to change your habits and immediately change your life. You will also discover how important your habits are towards helping you build up your self-confidence and self-discipline.

Habits are powerful stuff, they go a long way in helping you live the type of life you want. Have you ever asked yourself questions like, why am I acting this way? Why do I sound this way? Why do I behave this way? How do I fix everything that’s wrong? The answer to these questions might be very simple, you just need to change your habit. Believe it or not, the things that you do with reflex go a long way to determine your type of character. For example, in considering a set of people for a job opportunity as an international spy for the CIA, who would you rather pick? Someone who talks a lot or someone who hardly says a word? Except you are overthinking things, the subject of discretion is what you need the most so it’s best to pick someone who doesn’t talk much as an international spy. Why? Because you can assume that someone who doesn’t say much would attract less attention and hence would make a good spy. That’s one of the many ways that habits can determine character. Someone who doesn’t say much has developed the habit of speaking less and hence, has created a character of discretion.

It turns out that there is a useful structure that can render it simpler to adhere to fresh habits so you can enhance your overall health, resources, and livelihood.

Why should we have the best intentions to get better individually, and still see so little advancement? I will provide answers in this book, you are going to love it.

I bought this book so I could learn more about habits within an organisation. I quickly realised those habits were too deep and moved on so the book became less relevant. Picking it up again several months later, I see that it explores habits of individuals and society rather than just organisations so I decided that it might be interesting.

I really wanted to learn how to read body language and this book has helped me come a long way. It's crazy how much of our body language is rooted in evolutionary aspects. I'm reading people all the time now and finding out how they're feeling. It's done wonders for my personal and professional relationships

This book is packed full of information from start to finish. Many books have only a few ideas and fill the pages with not very useful anecdotes. This book is worth reading cover to cover.

I love this book as there is more information page per page then you can get in most books. You learn about how to properly shake hands, how to tell is someone is lieing and where to sit to present your topic most effectively. This would be especially useful for those who are in leadership or sales positions where you need to sell a product or idea. I would highly say this is critical for those who are serious about success in business.

This was a recommended book, and it's fantastic. The humor makes the tips memorable, too. As someone who does public speaking on occasion, I found the suggestions for responses to audience members very helpful. And if you're in sales, this would be such a helpful tool on how to read customers and work toward closing a deal.

I do recommend this book as it will provide the reader with something that can be used after reading the information. It is also written at a level that most anyone can understand. Don't let it's simplicity lead you to believe the information is not true - I use the information from this book to help evaluate possible security threats and in interviewing suspects.

I was very impressed with both the ease of the read and the way information was presented in this book. You will learn, just by reading, how to decode and apply what you learn about body language.

The examples used in this book are so powerful and relevant that reader will feel a lot of wow moments. This is one of the books which we need to read again and again.

The book is split into three sections - individuals, organizations and society in general. I found the first two sections extremely engaging but thought that the society narrative was slightly less well defined and held my interest less.

I've learned to exercise regularly, wake up early, and make healthier food choices. My habits and systems have improved my wellness, and if it worked for me, then it can definitely work for you
