Had to find out how Bill Clinton’s fantasy president fared; was not disappointed. Story is well developed, the characters are believable. A fun summer listen. Narrators were good; not great.

I loved this book - I like Dennis Quaid too, but his attempts at all those voices seemed to strain his voice in parts. He was great

I wanted to like this novel but the story was lack luster and a bit preachy. The narrators varied in skill and it was confusing to jump from one to the other.

Book was a good read.

This was a most engaging novel. At times I thought I was being given a window view into the real world of national security. Very realistic in view of the Russian hacking about which we all read and head so much over the last few years. Barrington H

I thought the plot was interesting. His speech at the end was telling. Definitely did not like Dennis Quade as a narrator.

The plot was good but narration was just ok

I think the narration is awful. 100%. It really creates a disconnect between reader and characters/story when you do not like the narration.

Intreaging story with good insight into the pressures of a POTUS... Only thing difficult were the readers voices many of which were gravely !

The story was good but too wordy and the last few chapters rather preachy. Several times I thought the book came to a good end but it continued. It did think it was an interesting insight into some of the interactions within the government. I didn't, however, think the president would be that trusting of strangers.

Well done thriller. Timely. Narrators we’re average.

Loved listening to this book! The “behind the scene” info Clinton provided was interesting. Very scary to think something like this could happen. In my opinion, when the story ends with the presidents speech, STOP LISTENING! I love James Patterson’s books which the only reason I bought it. Was not disappointed until the very end.

Liked the plot, the characters and the pace of the action. Did NOT like the "soapboxing" from Bill Clinton in Chapter 7 (or was it 8?) or at the end; it did not have a place in the book. James Patterson let the former President get away with something that a distinguished author like him should not allow; I knocked down the score one full star because of this. Overall the book was good but certainly not "The publishing event of 2018" unless the reviewer is trying to kiss up to Bill Clinton.

A well written, thoughtful thriller that should not be ignored despite being a work of fiction. A cautionary tale of what could happen and a vision of hope for our future.

I thought this was James Patterson at his best...terrifying and suspenseful. Bill Clinton added a realistic picture of the pressures a president endures. Loved every minute of it.

This was a horrible book. I did not enjoy listening to it at all! If i could i would get my credit back. Only reason i listened to it was because it was by James Patterson. I gave it one star only because i wanted to say how much i disliked it.

Worst book ever, the narrator when he tried to do a woman's voice sounded like Granny from little red riding hood. The story was lacking and mostly a political diatribe and the last 20 minutes where he gives his speech was so boring. Just all over boring, predictable and boring. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Story flowed well and came together well at the end. Narration was too fast. Overly urgent from the beginning!

Really good story. I really like DQ but he is a little rough to listen to. However, the story overcame his reading and made listening well worth it.

The book was a bit preachy at the end but understandable. Dennis Quaid’s voice not the best; too gravelly and difficult sometimes to tell the difference between characters. Otherwise it was a decent tale and makes me think the Amish had the right idea staying off the grid.

Sorry to say, Dennis Quaid was not my favorite narrator. I have listened to many audio books, and while he is not the worst, he is near the bottom. I was very disappointed. Loved the end speech that President Clinton read! Story line was suspenseful and kept me wanting more to find out what was going to happen.
