Nice and wholesome with spice mixed in towards the end as their heat builds and there’s no mistaking the intense sexual attraction and the many culminations. Solid characters. Exceptionally done narration - not a robot sound to be had. I’d enjoy hearing g the spinoffs.

Didn’t like the storyline. A lot of things that were said counteracted what actions took place. Example, she doesn’t like to be touched but within a week they are touching and more. Sorry. It just wasn’t my kinda book.

I listened to this audiobook while following along with the ebook and I love how low angst this romance is! Tucker and Darby's relationship is, in my opinion, the perfect relationship, two adults who find each other attractive, who don't fight their feelings but lean into them, and develop this beautiful love story where they are present for each other in the good times and in bad times. I loved the fact that even though there was an age gap, and a workplace romance "issue", they treated their interest like adults should, explored the possibilities, and became an exemplary couple, none of the "I can't because she's too young, or I will never date my boss", which in turn made the story lighter and satisfying. Their deep emotional connection and the vulnerability they shared only with each other made me root for them so hard. Then we have the steamy scenes and boy did they make me gasp more than once! Hot, hot hot!! Another thing this author did in the most amazing way, was setting up the scene and characters for the following installments. It left me curious and wondering what will happen with Tucker's brothers, and Darby's sisters. The full cast narration by Samantha Brentmoor, Sebastian York, Christian Fox, Stella Hunter, Jason Clarke, and Connor Crais was exquisite! They are such an amazing group of narrators. This new series definitely has me craving the next installment!
