Abridged Audiobook
Pretty predictable and boring story line. I knew exactly where it was going early on. Kind of surprised this book has the ratings it does.
I really enjoyed this listen. I hvnt listened to a Steel book in years. Glad I picked this one. Loved the ending!

The book is average. The narrator was clear but unlike some narrators who seem to be the character, I felt I was just being read a story. As for the plot, there should have been complex PTSD but nobody was really grieving or seemed emotionally scarred. While the author could have put in some interesting twists and surprises, it felt more like a predictable “Hallmark” movie. So if you need a light feel-good read, this is probably a good selection.

I like having the physical book on front of me while listening to the audio. Narrator was reading a script that left out many paragraphs.

This listen was extremely slow to begin with. I almost stopped listening. It got better by the end. Just not my cup of tea.

Predictable and boring. I had a hard time with the narrator, not much inflection in his voice. I thought I would give a Danielle Steele book a chance, they are all the same…..I loved them as a teenager and they have not changed, my adult self was very disappointed.
