Unabridged Audiobook
One of the best. Loved it.
Good story and good narration. Promises Part 1 did not end in a cliffhanger but it left me really wanting to know more about Roman "Quick" Webb and his attraction to Dr. Cayson Chauncey. Promises Part 2 didn't end on a cliffhanger either. I'm not sure why the author titled the books in this series the way she did but I've listened to the first three and none of them end in cliffhangers like the titles might lead you to believe. At the end of book one I knew that I really, really wanted Quick and Cayson to get together and I'm glad they did in this story. There are quite a few misunderstandings that have to be cleared up before they do. Cayson has a nasty ex-boyfriend who's in the closet and that comes into play in a big way near the end of this book. Like book 1, there's lots and lots of really hot sexy time. Once again, I found Aiden Snow's voice to be very pleasing to listen to and I look forward to his narration of the next book in this series. Unlike book 1, book 2 didn't give me any clues as to who book 3 is about but I listened to it and my review will be coming soon.
