Duration: 10 hours 22 minutes

Summary:

An action-packed and all-too-realistic vision of nations navigating the minefield of international intrigue, Protect and Defend is Vince Flynn's most explosive political thriller yet. The action begins in the heart of Iran, where billions of dollars are being spent on the development of a nuclear program. No longer willing to wait for the international community to stop its neighboring enemy, Israel launches a creative and daring operation that leaves a radioactive tomb in the middle of Iran's second largest city. An outraged Iranian government publicly blames both Israel and the United States and demands retribution.

Enter Mitch Rapp, America's top counterterrorism operative. Rapp convinces President Josh Alexander to sign off on a risky operation that will push Iran to the brink of revolution. But when Iran recruits Hezbollah master terrorist Imad Mukhtar, and a CIA effort goes disastrously wrong, Rapp and Mukhtar are set on a collision course that threatens to engulf the entire region in war. With the clock ticking, Rapp is given twenty-four hours, no questions asked, to do whatever it takes to stop Mukhtar, and avert an unthinkable catastrophe.

Simply Awesome. like all the others by Mr. Flynn. And Guidall is a master with his presentation and performance. I can never get enough. I've listened to all of Vince Flynn's books and read them several times over and over. it doesn't matter that I Know what will happen next, They are simply Awesome..again and again. And now Kyle Mills, selected to carry the torch, has done a great job with "The Survivor". Everyone should read all of Mr. Flynn's books. When I get upset I usually read my favorite "Term limits". It settles my nerves..If you get my meaning...wink wink, nod nod...

I could never really get fully into this book. I felt like it was rushed and very one dimensional

Another great job by Vince Flynn. Can't wait until I get the rest of them on my list. He is the best writer of a military thriller which includes treason and espionage. I will read him as long as he writes!

This was very spellbinding. It kept my interest thoughout. It was a little too close to reality in some of the scenarios. Kept me in my car listening after I got home.

A VERY GOOD BOOK. A LITTLE BIT UNBELEIVABLE HOWEVER, IT KEEPS YOUR INTEREST. A LOT OF BACKGROUND INFO. COMES WITH READING THIS BOOK. I WOULD RECCOMEND IT.

I got hooked from the very beginning and couldn't wait to hear what was going to happen next. Mitch Rapp has more than believable skills, but that's exactly why I like it. The ending was better than I expected

Vince Flynn does it again! Mitch Rapp does what we all wish we could do. He is Jack Bauer, only smarter. If you haven't listened to this book, you're missing out.
