I listened to this book on audio I think the narrators were great. This was my first hockey romance book ever and I am glad I was able to start my hockey reading list with this story. This book is easy to read, fast paced and funny. I think it was a great way to show where two different types of people with different lifestyles can come together. Axl and Sophie are cute and focused on their futures but also fall for each other while fake dating for publicity. The story was well written, and I feel the story line of falling for each other came together well and didn't feel rushed which I love about stories. I would recommend this book if you were just starting hockey romances. Overall, this story was great, and I will continue to read J.P. Sterlings books.

This book is corny in the BEST way. Such a sweet book with wholesome characters, with a bit of drama wrapped in. A fun audio!

This is such a fun duet listen! Axel and Sophie are such a great couple and I loved the voices for each of them. I instantly connected to Sophie and felt her heartache & frustration. Axel is the “not too bad” bad boy hockey player(swoon)with a longtime broken heart. Fake dating used to be one of my least favorite tropes, but stories like these are changing that. One of my favorite parts of this story is the instant attraction between Axel & Sophie. It is written so well and the actors really portray it perfectly! This is a sweet, clean, kisses only, HEA that you don’t want to miss!
