Unabridged Audiobook
This was one of the most depressing books I’ve ever read. It was awful. The narrator was the only thing that kept me listening and hope that it would improve for the main character. Did not like it at all.
An absolute page-turner! John Saul masterfully blends psychological suspense, supernatural dread, and small-town Catholic guilt into a chilling story of suicide contagion and hidden sins. The mounting horror as the new teacher uncovers the town's dark secrets kept me hooked from start to finish. Creepy, atmospheric, and impossible to put down—classic Saul at his best. Highly recommend for horror fans!
