This book is brilliantly filled with Scripture, solid Biblical theology, and both historical and current examples of how to practically live in the light of God’s presence. We hear (or read) what experiencing and hosting God’s presence can be or feel like. These examples help me recognize that I am growing in awareness that God is here, with me, every moment. Plus it makes me hungry and thirsty to seek God more. I love that the author refers to numerous resources (books, articles, websites, songs. . . ) that will help us keep on growing in pursuing God’s presence. He has truly considered how to spur us on to love and to seek and know God more in the midst of daily life. The book also offers biblical reasons, practical ideas, resources and encouragement for living in God’s presence in our homes, workplaces, churches, missional communities and more—all day every day. I highly recommend that everyone prayerfully listen to and/or read this wonderful resource. This will help us to keep increasingly practice the presence of God.
