Unabridged Audiobook
It seems a lot of people disliked the ending, but I actually didn’t mind it. It wasn’t perfect, but I’d rather have some loose ends than an ending filled with contempt for the reader and or the authors own characters (The Witcher & First Law Novels) both of which I loved but couldn’t help but feel like the authors enjoyed dashing peoples emotions after days or weeks spent in their created worlds. All of this is to say I enjoyed this book and the trilogy very very much and will take loose ends over miserable depressing ends every time.
The ending was a let down, seeing there wont be a 4th book most likely as told from the ending unless the writer can pull something. Alot of combat all around with magic unleashed, way more then the second book.
Very poor ending! There better be a 4th book in the series to tie up the ending.
Great! I can't wait for the next one. Excellent storyline.
I loved this book. Loved this series, and I seriously don't think they could have picked a better narrarator. I know a lot of people felt bored by Tower Lord because it didn't focus solely on the main character, and I was worried about that too, but that book sets you up perfectly for this one. In Tower Lord you are introduced to more characters and you get a better feel for existing characters. In Queen of Fire I found myself excited for every chapter, every character POV, and I couldn't wait to hear more. Vaelin's isn't the only story to tell, remember that. I highly recommend this entire series, and I will be reading it all over again now. It was hard to remember a lot of things because I had to wait between each book, but I think it'll be even better a second time.
