This book was better than expected.
A great love story with chaos and darkness earth intermingled . Both books were addictive and thrilling.
I am very pleased with how this second half of the story played out. Things had gone terribly awry and I couldn't guess how it was going to be worked out. But they just went so good. And despite much of the gory imagery, there were a number of scenes in this one that had me grinning like a fool. . Ada's determination and rise were just spectacular and beautiful! And all the pride swallowing and squishy sweetness that comes from Enoch was the best!! Hell hath no fury like a woman perpetually underestimated and under valued. . I just can't stop ruminating over this one! . The narration was also very well done. . This is a dark fantasy and romance. Please check content warnings before reading!!
amazing series
Definitely better than I expected. Used a VIP credit for book 1 and then bought this one just to see how the story ended. Satisfying series and great writing for a female character in this type of circumstance.
I found this book more gory but it has a good ending and worth finishing the series.
