Really well-written. Different from all the other books I've read about this business. Nor just another "here's how easy it is to do VO!!" book. More like a "here's the realities. you up for it?" book. A breath of fresh air. Can't wait to read it again when he updates it!

Funny relatable step by step guide to how to begin and what not to do, which is very very important. This is the Only book you need to begin, and you Will go back to it for reference.
My introduction to Andrew was through his YouTube videos. I have always appreciated his bare-bones approach to VO work. He tells it like it is. No fluff. As he says, "the real truth, the unvarnished, unsweetened truth." This book follows his video style and is a great read, sprinkled with humor. He pulls the curtain back on the voice-over industry and guides us through what to expect working in VO. There are 21 chapters like - A Day in the Life, One Size Fits None, The Do's and Don'ts for Demos, and Show Me the Money, which are full of direct, no BS advice. Once you finish it, you will be equipped to make a thoroughly informed decision about pursuing a career in this industry. I highly recommend it.
